Sharing Worlds

Bonjour! ¡Hola! Hello! No matter what language you speak or where you come from we welcome you to ERAU-Prescott. We hope that you spend the next few years making this community your new home.

This academic year we are pleased to welcome incoming students from Canada, China, France, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Mexico, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nigeria, Romania, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, UK/Scotland, United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom, besides a plethora of states throughout the U.S.

We, at the Center for International Programs & Services (CIPS), encourage you to get to know and make friends with people from other world regions and cultures during your college years.

Did you know that diversity makes us smarter? It’s true! Research indicates “Being around people who are different from us makes us more creative, more diligent, and harder-working” (Scientific American, Oct. 2014) among many other benefits.

So come make yourself smarter and well-rounded by getting involved with the many fun and educational activities and events hosted by CIPS or the International Student Association (ISA) throughout the year.

We are also excited to announce the launch of our new International House at ERAU – or iHouse for short – a themed living community for students interested in gaining a broader perspective and deeper understanding of multi-cultural world views.

To gain this perspective, iHouse will enable globally-minded students to intentionally live with students from other cultural, religious, and lingual backgrounds.

We believe when students are excited to live in a diverse community, that everyone in the community will benefit.

Stop by CIPS in Building 51 for more information on how to get involved. We welcome everyone!
