The All Campus BBQ was a huge hit on Activity Fair day. There was free food including pulled pork, pulled beef, macaroni salad, and chips. Along with that, drinks such as lemonade, iced water, and iced tea were served. Students and staff enjoyed the pleasant evening with the delicious food and a live band.
A student by name Dante said, “I enjoyed the free food and the music. It was a fun evening, and I look forward to it every year. Mainly because I don’t have to go out and buy food.”
As a junior myself, I like events like this because it provides free food and it’s a nice opportunity to hang out with friends. Students can take a break from school and not worry about homework for that extra two hours.
Another student, Sean, said, “The school should do more events like this. It brings out everyone and it provides the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends.”
The All Campus BBQ is a unique event that provides free delicious food, thirst quenching drinks, and friendly faces all around. This BBQ was even more unique because there was a live band, a new feature for this event.
They played songs you would hear today only better. Having that extra touch proved to push this event to the next level. It’s not just an ordinary event in which you grab your food and go about your day. It is an event you would want to sit down with friends, tell funny stories with good music in the background, and make new memories.
The All Campus BBQ was a monumental success and had a large turnout. This event happens once a semester on the day of the activity fair. Once you finish eating your delicious pulled pork with chips, you can walk off dinner checking out all the organizations and clubs Embry-Riddle has to offer. If you missed the All Campus BBQ this semester, don’t worry as the event returns for the spring semester.
